First Impression
The wine list at Bella Luna reads exactly like the room looks — warm, approachable, and not trying too hard. You're not going to find anything that surprises you, but you're also not going to feel like someone's reaching into your wallet. It's a neighborhood cafe list that knows its audience.
Selection Deep Dive
The list runs 25–40 bottles and leans hard on California brands that move well at price points nobody argues over — Josh Cellars, Meiomi, Kendall-Jackson. Italy shows up with La Marca, which checks the sparkling box for brunch crowds. There's no real depth here — no old-world outliers, no producer story worth telling — but this isn't that kind of place, and the list doesn't pretend to be. What you see is what you get: a shortlist built for ease over exploration.
By the Glass
Eight to twelve pours, priced $8–$11, covering the usual bases — a Cab, a Pinot, a Chardonnay, a bubbles option. Rotation doesn't appear to be a priority, so don't expect seasonal additions or anything unexpected showing up mid-year. What's there works for the food, just don't go in hoping to discover something.
La Marca Prosecco NV — $9/glass
At $9 a glass, this is the move — especially at brunch or alongside the Mediterranean mezze spread. La Marca is cheerful, slightly sweet, and does exactly what Prosecco should. Not exciting, but honest.
Meiomi Pinot Noir NV
Most people at a Mediterranean cafe reach for white or sparkling, but Meiomi's blended Pinot holds up better against shawarma spices and roasted lamb than you'd expect. Soft tannins, some dark fruit — it doesn't fight the food.
Kendall-Jackson Vintner's Reserve Chardonnay NV
At $34 a bottle, you're paying nearly three times retail for one of the most mass-produced Chardonnays on the market. K-J is fine, but it's a grocery store staple priced like it earned its spot on a restaurant list. Pass.
La Marca Prosecco NV + Hummus and Mediterranean mezze
The light effervescence and gentle sweetness in La Marca cut through the richness of hummus and play well with briny olives and roasted peppers. It's a low-commitment, high-return combination that works every time.
Monday — All-day half-price wine bottles across the list every Monday. No formal exclusions listed — appears to apply to both reds and whites.
✔️ The Bottom Line
Bella Luna's wine list won't win any awards, but Monday's all-day half-price bottles change the math entirely — suddenly that $40 Meiomi is $20, and you're having a fine evening. Come on a Monday, order the mezze, don't stress about the wine.
