Wednesday Wins, But the List Plays It Safe

The wine list at Bravo! is exactly what you'd expect from a polished chain Italian spot in a shopping center — familiar names, approachable prices, and zero surprises. It's not trying to impress anyone who shops at wine stores, but it's also not trying to embarrass anyone either. Think of it as the wine equivalent of a well-ironed button-down: totally fine, not memorable.
120 labels sounds like a lot until you realize it's mostly California stalwarts with a light Italian dusting for thematic credibility. Meiomi, La Crema, Robert Mondavi — these are grocery store endcap regulars, not list-builders with a point of view. The Italian representation is surface-level at best, which is a missed opportunity for a restaurant that puts 'Italian' in its name. If you're hunting for a Barolo or a nerdy Sicilian white, keep hunting.
Twelve by-the-glass options in the $9–$15 range gives you something to work with, and the spread covers the basics — a Chardonnay, a Pinot Noir, likely a Cab and a Pinot Grigio for the crowd. The pours aren't exciting, but they're consistent, and on a Wednesday that $38 bottle becomes something worth actually ordering. Rotation doesn't appear to be a priority here.
Robert Mondavi Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon 2020 — $65
At 62.5% above retail, it's still the least egregious markup on the list — and on a Wednesday at half price, you're drinking a recognizable Napa Cab for around $32. That's a genuine deal for a restaurant bottle, and it holds its own against the Veal Parmesan.
La Crema Sonoma Coast Chardonnay 2022
Most people pass on the Chardonnay at an Italian joint out of reflex, but La Crema's Sonoma Coast bottling is the kind of restrained, acid-driven white that actually works well with pasta in cream sauce. It's overpriced at $38, but if you catch it on a Wednesday, it punches above its half-price weight.
La Crema Sonoma Coast Chardonnay 2022
At full price, a 90% markup on a $20 retail bottle is hard to justify — that's the steepest markup on the list. If it's not Wednesday, skip it and grab a glass pour instead.
Robert Mondavi Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon 2020 + Veal Parmesan
The Cab's dark fruit and mild tannin structure hold up against the richness of the veal and the acidity of the tomato sauce without steamrolling either. It's not a revolutionary pairing, but it's a reliable one — which is basically the restaurant's whole brand.
Wednesday — Half-price bottles of wine all day Wednesday
✔️ The Bottom Line
Bravo! isn't a wine destination, but Wednesday half-price bottles make it a genuinely decent place to drink a recognizable bottle without wincing too hard at the check. Come for the pasta, plan around the Wednesday deal, and don't expect the staff to geek out with you.
