First Impression
The wine list at Connors reads like a greatest hits of American fine dining circa 2015 — Caymus, Silver Oak, Jordan, and Dom Pérignon all present and accounted for. It's comfortable and familiar, which is exactly the point. If you know what you want and want it reliably, this list delivers.
Selection Deep Dive
Thirty-five labels with a heavy lean toward California — Napa Cab is king here, flanked by Sonoma Chardonnay and a respectable Champagne selection anchored by Moët, Roederer Estate, and Dom Pérignon. Don't come hunting for Burgundy, Barolo, or anything with a natural cork and a funky label. The list is built to satisfy a steak-and-seafood crowd that wants recognizable names, and it succeeds at exactly that without pushing anyone outside their comfort zone.
By the Glass
Six pours, running $10–$14 for a 6oz and $14–$19 for a 9oz — a tiered format we appreciate because at least you can control your spend. The BTG lineup skews Chardonnay-heavy with Sea Sun by Caymus, Kendall-Jackson, and Sonoma-Cutrer all in rotation, which is fine but leaves red drinkers with slim pickings. Rotation doesn't appear to be a priority here.
Rombauer Napa Chardonnay — $68
Rombauer retails around $35–$40, so the markup isn't thrilling, but at $68 it's one of the more reasonable bottles on a list where things escalate fast. Rich, crowd-pleasing Chardonnay that fits the room perfectly.
Roederer Estate Brut Rosé
Most tables here are ordering red wine with their filet and ignoring the sparkling section entirely. That's a mistake. Roederer Estate is one of California's best méthode traditionnelle houses, and the Brut Rosé punches well above its category — especially next to the Lobster Bisque.
Opus One Napa
At $499 on this list, you're paying for the label in a room that doesn't quite match the bottle. Opus One deserves a deeper cellar program and a staff that can walk you through it. Here, it's just the most expensive line on the menu.
Jordan Alexander Valley Cabernet Sauvignon + Boursin Filet
Jordan's Alexander Valley Cab is built for exactly this — it's structured enough to stand up to beef but polished enough not to fight the herby, creamy Boursin crust. Classic pairing, executed without overthinking it.
✔️ The Bottom Line
Connors is a reliable steakhouse wine list that knows its audience and plays to it without apology. Send a friend here for a special occasion if they want familiar names and a nice room — just don't send them expecting to be surprised.
