You open the wine list here and it reads like a greatest hits album you already know every word to — Rombauer, Silver Oak, Jordan, Stag's Leap. It's not a bad list, it's just a predictable one. The lagoon view out the window is doing more heavy lifting than anything on these pages.
The 80-120 label list is essentially a California greatest hits showcase with Napa and Sonoma doing most of the work. You'll find the usual suspects — Stag's Leap Cabernet, Silver Oak, Jordan Chardonnay — all solid producers, all wildly recognizable, and priced accordingly. There's no real Old World presence to speak of, no natural wine tangent, and nothing that suggests someone was curious enough to venture outside the California comfort zone. This list was built for the post-round golfer who wants something familiar and safe, and on that front, it delivers.
Twelve pours by the glass is a respectable count, and the $12–$20 range covers the spread without going outrageous. That said, the BTG selection mirrors the bottle list — expect Meiomi Pinot Noir and Rombauer Chardonnay to be doing the heavy rotation. There's no sign of an active rotation program or anything adventurous sneaking into the lineup.
Jordan Chardonnay — $18/glass
Jordan punches above its price point as a glass pour — clean, restrained, and actually food-friendly. It's one of the few BTG options here that won't feel like a compromise.
Stag's Leap Wine Cellars Cabernet Sauvignon
Gets overlooked in the shadow of Silver Oak's brand dominance, but Stag's Leap is the more nuanced bottle on this list. Worth the ask if you're going red and want something with a little more structure than a crowd-pleaser.
Silver Oak Cabernet Sauvignon
Great wine, genuinely. But you're paying a premium here for a label that every restaurant in America marks up to the moon. Buy this one at retail and save the markup money for a second bottle of something else.
Jordan Chardonnay + Grouper Cheeks Sliders
Florida grouper is delicate and a little briny — Jordan's Chardonnay stays lean enough not to bulldoze it, while the oak gives you just enough richness to match the slider format. This is the pairing that makes the list actually make sense.
✔️ The Bottom Line
Nineteen & Traditions is a reliable, zero-risk wine stop for anyone who knows what they like and doesn't want to think too hard about it. If you're hoping to discover something new, you'll need to look elsewhere — but if you're winding down after 18 holes and want a solid glass of Jordan Chardonnay with a view, this place has you covered.
