First Impression

Walk into Warren expecting whiskey — and you'll find plenty of it — but the wine list quietly earns its own spotlight. It's a California-heavy, crowd-pleasing program that leans into the greatest hits, which in Naples isn't a bad call. Wine Spectator handed them an Award of Excellence in 2024, and sommelier Eric Gaboury is the reason it doesn't feel like an afterthought.

Selection Deep Dive

The list runs 150 to 250 bottles deep with a firm grip on California and France — think Caymus, Silver Oak Alexander Valley, Stag's Leap Wine Cellars, Far Niente, and Rombauer doing the heavy lifting on the West Coast, while Louis Jadot and Joseph Drouhin anchor the French side with dependable Burgundy. It's not adventurous — you won't find skin-contact wines or obscure Jura producers here — but it's executed with intention, and the producer selection shows genuine curation rather than lazy distributor defaults. Duckhorn Merlot and Jordan Cab round out the familiar names, and Chateau Ste. Michelle provides an accessible entry point for guests not ready to spend big. The gaps are real: no meaningful Italian presence, nothing from Spain or South America, and zero by-the-glass surprises.

By the Glass

Twenty to thirty-five options by the glass is a serious commitment, and at $12 to $22 a pour, the range skews toward the classics — Rombauer Chardonnay and Caymus Cab are almost certainly anchoring the top tier. We'd love to see more rotation or a rotating single-vineyard pour, but for a steakhouse-adjacent program in Naples, the BTG depth is genuinely above average.

💰Best Value

Jordan Cabernet Sauvignon — $40 (estimated glass tier / bottle entry)

Jordan is a perennial overachiever — polished, food-friendly, and far more elegant than its approachable reputation suggests. Against a dry-aged steak, it punches well above whatever they charge for it.

💎Hidden Gem

Joseph Drouhin Burgundy

Most tables here will default to California Cab, which means the Drouhin Burgundy gets overlooked. That's a mistake. It's a serious producer with real terroir expression, and it plays beautifully against the whole roasted chicken in a way no Cabernet ever will.

Skip This

Caymus Cabernet Sauvignon

Caymus is fine — but it's also the wine every table at every steakhouse orders, which means markups are aggressive and you're paying for name recognition more than what's in the glass. With Silver Oak and Stag's Leap on the same list, there's no reason to default here.

🍽️Perfect Pairing

Far Niente Chardonnay + Lobster Bisque

Far Niente brings enough body and richness to hold its own against a cream-forward bisque without getting swallowed — the wine's oak is measured, the fruit is ripe, and the result is one of those rare matches where both the food and the wine get better together.

✔️ The Bottom Line

Warren is a whiskey bar that does wine correctly, which is more than most can say. Eric Gaboury and the Wine Spectator nod give it credibility, and if you stick to the California producers you know or let staff steer you toward the Burgundy shelf, you'll drink well with your steak.
