Water & Wine is the real deal for Italian wine in central Jersey — a list anchored by legitimate Piedmont and Tuscany producers that would hold up in any major city. The markups sting a little and there's no dedicated sommelier to guide you, but the bones are excellent and that 2006 Wine Spectator credential isn't an accident.
